Graffity and Oil on Canvas with Gold Pigments 2023 I painted this painting after a very difficult period. I had a emotionally abusive relationship and this was painted afterwards. It’s clearly visible in the painting how much this whole situation affected me emotionally. The black and white face and the crying cloud reflect my mental state. However, I continued on the path of self-improvement and received a lot of external help to get back on track. Therefore, the contrast exactly reflects that even in the toughest moments, when you’re at rock bottom, it’s worth looking around because not everything is just black and white, and wonderful opportunities can open up before you even if sadness covers your eyes.
